William Jay Gaynor (1848–1913) was an American politician; Mayor of New York City from 1910 to 1913. Born February 2, 1848 in Oriskany. Died September 10, 1913 in New York City of myocardial infarction. Interred at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, United States.
