Edward Ardizzone (1900–1979) was a British artist, children’s illustrator and writer. Born October 16, 1900 in Haiphong. Died November 8, 1979 in London of myocardial infarction. Interred at St Nicholas Churchyard, Rodmersham, United Kingdom.
