Whether commanding a scene as an actor or orchestrating one from behind the camera, he demonstrated a comprehensive vision of how movies could be made and what they could say. His work reflected deep creative engagement with visual storytelling at a time when Israeli film was still finding its voice.
When Dayan passed away on May 1, 2014, he left behind a legacy embedded in the foundation of Israeli cinema.
