Biography

Albert Bormann was born on September 2, 1902, in Halberstadt, Germany. He went on to serve as a Nazi officer during one of history’s darkest periods, holding the position of adjutant to Adolf Hitler. This role placed him within the inner circles of Nazi leadership during the Third Reich, a time that left profound scars on European history and the world.

Bormann’s life spanned most of the twentieth century, from the early years of the German Empire through the post-war era. He lived through extraordinary historical upheaval—witnessing the rise and fall of Nazi Germany and the reshaping of Europe that followed. After the war’s end, he lived into his later years, passing away on April 8, 1989, in Munich at the age of 86.
