Biography

Branka Veselinović was born on September 16, 1918, in Bečej, a town in northern Serbia. She would go on to become a notable figure in Serbian theatre and film, dedicating much of her life to the performing arts during a transformative period in her country’s history.

Throughout her career as an actress, Veselinović contributed to the cultural heritage of Serbia across multiple decades. Her work reflected the changing landscape of Serbian entertainment from the early twentieth century onward, a time of significant artistic development in the region.
