Gaius Hostilius Mancinus -150 –

Biography

The biographical data provided contains significant issues that prevent writing an accurate memorial:

1. **Impossible dates**: The birth year “-150” would place his birth 13 years *after* his consulship in 137 BC, which is chronologically impossible.

2. **Missing essential information**: The location of birth is listed as blank, and the cause and place of death are not recorded, leaving major gaps in his life story.

3. **Insufficient verified facts**: With only a consulship date and contradictory chronology, there are insufficient verified details to write a meaningful 150-220 word biography without either inventing information or leaving the text largely empty.

**To proceed, I would need:**
– Corrected birth year (likely around 180-185 BC based on standard Roman consulship ages)
– Any verified details about his life, achievements, or family
– Confirmation of other biographical facts

If you can provide corrected or additional verified information, I’d be happy to write an appropriate memorial biography.
