Biography
Gus Hall was born on October 8, 1910, in Cherry Township, beginning a life that would span nearly nine decades. He devoted himself to public service as an American politician, dedicating his career to civic engagement and community involvement. On October 13, 2000, Gus Hall passed away at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York following a brief illness. He left behind a legacy of service to his community and country. His final resting place is Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, where he was laid to rest among those he served and knew throughout his lifetime.
