Biography

Halit Akçatepe was born on January 1, 1938, in the historic Istanbul neighborhood of Üsküdar, where he would spend much of his life. He went on to build a career as a Turkish actor, contributing to the cultural landscape of his country through his work in entertainment. Throughout his life, he remained connected to his native city and community.

On March 31, 2017, Akçatepe passed away in Istanbul at the age of 79, following a myocardial infarction.
