Biography

Henri Herz was an Austrian musician born in Vienna on January 6, 1802. He lived a long and full life during a transformative period for European music, witnessing the evolution from classical to romantic traditions. His career spanned much of the nineteenth century, allowing him to participate in and contribute to the musical developments of his era.
