Kim Ki Nam was born on August 28, 1929, in Kumya County, beginning a life that would span nearly a century. He dedicated his years to service as a North Korean official, holding a position of responsibility within the governmental structure of his nation. On May 7, 2024, Kim Ki Nam passed away in Pyongyang after suffering from multiple organ dysfunction syndrome. He was laid to rest at the Patriotic Martyrs’ Cemetery in Hyongjesan-guyok, an honor reflecting the respect accorded to his years of official service.
