Biography
Paweł Socha was a Polish Catholic bishop whose long ministry carried him from the Mazovian countryside to western Poland, where he served as auxiliary bishop. Born on January 10, 1935, in Wojsławice in Masovian Voivodeship, he was ordained to the priesthood and spent decades in pastoral service before his appointment as a bishop, working alongside the diocesan bishop in caring for the faithful. In his later years he continued to serve as bishop emeritus, a respected elder voice in the local church. He died on October 29, 2026, in Zielona Góra, the city where he had ministered, at the age of 91.
