Stephan Ludwig Roth (1796–1849) was a Transylvanian Saxon intellectual, pedagogue and Lutheran pastor. Born November 24, 1796 in Mediaș. Died May 11, 1849 in Cluj-Napoca. Interred at Mediaș, Sibiu County, Romania.
